Mr. Haddad as the students call him, might appear mostly apathetic or in his own world most of the time, but the physics teacher of more than 10yrs is usually wading in his head. Teacher of the sciences and near retired superhero, he splits his time trying to aid the AP students so they can get a leg up before moving onto the next chapter of their young lives. His visible tiredness and/or annoyed state isnβt as much of an issue when he comes through to do the job heβs been granted.
As a bonus to these young minds, Mr. Haddad has been the facilitator of the robotics club. Seeing many bright students with potential in the program, has catapulted the robotics club, Cosmic Cynics, into the regional & national competition sphere since its inception a few years ago. Awards and prizes aren't the end all to his passion of fronting the club but the knowledge and wealth of wisdom passed on to the next set of innovators, especially those from disenfranchised backgrounds.
He may not voice it often but Mr. Haddad enjoys his job enough that he makes the course super navigational that the pressures of its challenging units, are often broken down by hands-on-learning. Including straying away from statewide teaching guidelines that have proven to be useless. As much as his school life is a mystery, so is his personal life with reputation of romantic entanglements with mothersβ of students being gossip fodder among student and faculty alike.
